California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff shared a shocking
anecdote on HBO's "Real Time" with Bill Maher on Friday about the
moment he realized his party was in trouble.
The notorious architect of the false "Trump-Russia
collusion" narrative acknowledged that his party could lose power in
Democratic-majority California, as a recent poll found that 50% of respondents
would consider voting for a Republican governor in 2026.
He stated that he believes rampant crime is a concern, while
seeking to distance himself from the tough-on-crime policies he has supported
for years.
"So we're going to have to change the way we operate in
California. We're going to have to address people's legitimate concerns about
crime," he declared after years of supporting so-called liberal
tough-on-crime policies.
