NEW JERSEY – Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested a man identified as an undocumented immigrant near Pine Plaza, located at 7 Broad Avenue in Palisades Park, New Jersey.
According to reports, the man attempted to take refuge inside a store to avoid arrest by federal agents.
However, ICE agents entered the store and located him, making the arrest a few feet from Pine Plaza.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts by U.S. immigration authorities to locate and detain individuals who are in the country without authorization.
So far, no further details have been publicly released regarding the identity of the detainee, the charges against him, or the immigration proceedings he faces.
