blocking all permits for the construction of new wind turbines in the country.
During his remarks, the president maintained that this type
of infrastructure devalues homes due to the noise it generates and the impact
it has, he said, on wildlife, particularly the death of birds. He also asserted
that wind energy is the most expensive form of electricity generation.
