Donald Trump asked House Republicans to unite to pass his national agenda

President Donald Trump warned House Republicans not to oppose his "Big, Beautiful Bill" in order to build support.

According to three people who spoke on condition of anonymity to share closed-door conversations, President Donald Trump asked House Republicans to come together, put aside their objections, and listen to House Speaker Mike Johnson to get his domestic agenda passed.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Trump had a memorable moment addressing a rumor circulating online about his "tone" at the meeting and whether he attacked lawmakers.

"I'm not losing my temper. We're ahead of schedule. Anyone who told you that is a liar," Trump said.
