Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who spent years spreading the
false claim that President Donald Trump is a Russian agent and puppet, took to
the far-left network MSNBC to complain about FBI Director Kash Patel.
In an interview with host Lawrence O'Donnell, the two
expressed solidarity with Patel and suggested he would politicize the agency,
which former President Joe Biden's regime used as a weapon against Trump for
most of his term. They also predicted that a future Democratic president would
fire Patel upon taking office.
"With everything going on in the Senate, you did
something senators have never done before: take to the streets, in this case
today in front of FBI headquarters, to protest Senate Republicans' confirmation
of an FBI director whose qualifications for any kind of federal service were
absolutely unimaginable before Donald Trump won the presidency," O'Donnell
said of Patel, a former federal prosecutor and national security official.
