WASHINGTON. – President Donald Trump reaffirmed his proposal to give a $5,000 “Trump dividend” to American adults, contingent on Republicans maintaining control of the House of Representatives and the Senate after the upcoming midterm elections, as the approval of this announcement depends on it.
Trump maintains that the payment would be possible thanks to
the revenue generated by his economic and tariff policies. “When I say
something, I mean it. The $5,000 dividend will happen because the people of our
country deserve it,” he stated.
The president compared the proposal to the $1,776 “warrior
dividend” given to members of the Armed Forces, announced in 2025.

As an example, the Democrats said that the GREAT BEAUTIFUL BILL, one of the
largest ever passed by Congress or signed into law by a President, happened,
despite the Democrats saying it would be impossible for it to pass,” the
President said.
He further explained: “Or the $1,776 Gift I gave last year
to our Armed Forces, it was almost certain it wouldn’t happen, everyone said it
couldn’t be done, but it was done, our patriotic military received the money
and they loved it. When I say something, I mean it! The $5,000 Dividend will
happen because the people of our country deserve it.”
