The former CIA director has been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in Florida as investigators examine his involvement at various stages of the investigation into alleged collusion between Donald Trump's campaign and Russia.

investigating an alleged conspiracy within U.S. intelligence and security
agencies have focused on the role played by former CIA Director John Brennan
during the investigation into possible links between Donald Trump's 2016
presidential campaign and Russia.
Brennan has been subpoenaed to appear before a federal grand
jury on October 15 in Fort Pierce, Florida, as part of a Justice Department investigation
seeking to determine whether intelligence and security officials conspired to
harm Trump's rights.
Investigators are examining, among other things, Brennan's
involvement in the development and dissemination of intelligence assessments
related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.
They have also looked into the testimony the former CIA
director gave before Congress in 2013. The investigation is specifically
analyzing whether Brennan provided false information to Congress. The former
official and his lawyers have repeatedly denied this allegation.
