Elon Musk escalated his criticism of President Donald
Trump's sweeping tax cut bill on Wednesday, warning that it would plunge the
country into "debt slavery" and calling on lawmakers to "ABORT
THE BILL."
"Call your senator, call your congressman," Musk
wrote while complaining at length about the budget package on his social media
account. "Bankrupting America is NOT okay!"
"A new spending bill should be written that doesn't
massively increase the deficit or debt ceiling by $5 trillion," the Tesla
and SpaceX CEO noted in another post.
Musk's rant began Tuesday, when he railed against what Trump
has called the "big, beautiful bill" as a "disgusting
abomination."
