People should not take medical advice from anyone who is not a doctor: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Here's an excerpt from the interview conducted by CNN's Kaitlan Collins with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Collins: "You said people shouldn't take your medical advice. Is that your position?"

RFK Jr.: "Yes, absolutely! People shouldn't take medical advice from anyone who isn't a doctor."

"They should also be skeptical of any medical advice. They need to do their own research!"

Collins: "They don't have a medical degree."

RFK Jr.: "The responsibility of living in a democracy is to do your own research and make your own decisions."

"Be skeptical of authority."

"People need to form their own judgments, be skeptical, and maintain their critical thinking skills, and that was curtailed during COVID-19. The media was complicit."

Collins: "I disagree with that last part."
