Far-left Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar from Minnesota
went viral on social media Thursday morning after a pro-Palestinian man was
arrested for the alleged murder of two Israeli embassy employees.
A reporter asked Omar if she had any comment after the
Palestinian man was arrested for the alleged murder of two Israeli employees
leaving an event at the Jewish Capital Museum in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday
night.
Omar refused to condemn the murders and said nothing,
prompting widespread criticism on social media. The Israeli Embassy in the
United States identified the victims as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, who
were engaged.
Steven Jensen, assistant director of the FBI's Washington
Field Office, stated that the agency will investigate this "heinous
crime" for hate crime motivation or links to possible terrorism.
