WASHINGTON— US President Donald Trump is scheduled to headline an event in Washington next Tuesday that will bring together prominent business leaders, innovators, and figures connected to American technology and industry.
The White House has described the gathering as an
“extraordinary meeting of America’s most outstanding leaders, builders,
innovators, and citizens,” focused on the people and projects that, according
to the invitation, are driving a new era of innovation in the country.
Among the invited guests are entrepreneur Elon Musk, Nvidia
CEO Jensen Huang, as well as Tom Brown, co-founder of Anthropic, and Shyam
Sankar, chief technology officer of Palantir.
The program includes a speech by Trump in the morning, followed
by panels dedicated to topics such as artificial intelligence, energy, and
space exploration. The event will be held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium,
near the White House.
The meeting will take place while the Trump administration
holds talks with technology industry leaders about the development of
artificial intelligence and potential regulations for companies working with
advanced models.
According to reports, Trump also plans to meet that same day
with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and executives from technology
companies.
