President Donald Trump stated that one of his priorities
will be to use some Venezuelan oil to replenish the United States' strategic
oil reserves, which were virtually depleted during Joe Biden's administration.
"One of the things I'm going to do with Venezuelan oil
is fill up the Strategic National Reserves, which, because of 'Sleepy Joe
Biden,' have been practically emptied," Trump declared.
The president added that the process to replenish the
reserves will begin "very soon" and described the supply of
Venezuelan crude as a "gift from Venezuela to the American people."

president concluded in his message.
Trump's statements suggest a potential strategic role for
Venezuelan oil in the United States' energy supply, particularly in restoring
the levels of its strategic reserves.
