Florida reacts to at least 81 dead and 41 missing in central Texas

As the death toll rises and a dozen people are missing following severe flash flooding in the Texas mountain region, Florida offers its assistance and sends its sincere condolences to all those affected by the natural disaster.

On Sunday night, CBS News reported that at least 81 people died and 41 more were missing after heavy rains caused flash flooding in Central Texas. Water rescues were conducted along the Guadalupe River, which swelled rapidly early Friday morning, reaching the height of a two-story structure.

Authorities reported that a dozen people remain missing at Camp Mystic, a children's summer camp in Kerr County, about 90 miles northwest of San Antonio.
