President Donald Trump blasted Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his
supporters on Sunday, claiming that Democrats and the media are falsely
portraying the deported MS-13 gang suspect as a very sweet and innocent person.
In his Truth Social platform, Trump called the
characterization a "total, blatant, and dangerous lie," adding that
those who have lied to the public about Garcia's past "must be held accountable."
"The lunatic Radical Democrats and their comrades in
the Fake News Media are falsely portraying Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia as a
very sweet and innocent person, which is a total, blatant, and dangerous
lie," Trump wrote. "Garcia has been declared a member of the violent
and murderous MS-13 gang by two separate courts, was in our country illegally,
and is under a deportation order."
