This was FBI Director Kash Patel's message to the Attorney
General:
General Bondi, we are here today because of your dedicated
leadership in safeguarding American lives. Because you have the courage to
follow President Trump's example of prioritizing our children and ensuring that
drug traffickers—and undoubtedly, this administration has labeled them as
foreign terrorist organizations—are protected.
There is no lethal force on planet Earth responsible for the
overdose death of an American citizen every seven minutes. More so than these
federal terrorist organizations, foreign terrorist organizations.
We are honored to be part of this Department of Justice and
will continue to protect our streets. This is what a whole-of-government
approach looks like when it brings every resource at its disposal. From the
Department of Defense, the U.S. Coast Guard, HSI, the FBI, the DEA, and many
others.
