CNN Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten warned of a "revolt
within the Democratic Party," stating that alarm bells are likely ringing
in the office of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in response to the
alarming new polling data.
"I think this is a revolt, a revolt that's happening
within the Democratic Party right now, among Democrats and their leaders,"
Enten said during a segment on "CNN News Central" on Thursday.
According to a Gallup poll released this month, only 39% of
Democrats now trust their party's leaders in Congress to "do the right
thing" on economic matters, a dramatic drop from 80% in April 2024.
