The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), now led by new director Kash Patel, has announced the arrest of two active-duty military personnel and one veteran on treason charges.
The Justice Department said in a press release that the
three men were caught in the act of selling U.S. national security secrets and
providing them to China.
“Jian Zhao and Li Tian, active-duty U.S. Army soldiers
stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, along with Ruoyu Duan, a former U.S.
Army soldier, were arrested today following indictments by federal grand juries
in the District of Oregon and the Western District of Washington,” the Department
said in a press release this week./CBrief
