The new acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of
New York, appointed by President Donald Trump, has previously criticized
President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and two-time failed presidential
candidate Hillary Clinton.
John A. Sarcone III, an attorney in private practice in
Westchester County, accused Biden of being a "traitor" and committing
"treason" in a 2022 social media post.
After Biden tweeted on New Year's Eve that year that he was
"ready to get things done," Sarcone responded, "The traitor
should be tried for treason. The worst person to ever occupy the White
House."
