CIA Director John Radcliffe confirmed that Signal was
installed on his work devices when he took office and that he was informed it
was a permitted means of communication.
"To be clear, one of the first things that happened
when I was confirmed as CIA director was that Signal was installed on my
computer at the CIA, as is typical for most officers."
Radcliffe also said that one of the things I was informed
about from the Senate, by CIA records management staff, was about the use of
Signal as a permitted means of work."
He commented that this is a practice that predates the
current administration, the Biden administration."
