Surveillance video circulating on social media and various
digital outlets shows a man identified by law enforcement as Tyler Robinson
walking on the campus of Utah Valley University (UVU) shortly before the murder
of Charlie Kirk, a crime that remains under investigation.
In the footage, the man appears to be walking with an
apparent limp or an unusual gait, which has sparked speculation among social
media users and commentators. Some suggest that his gait could be due to him
carrying a concealed firearm or some other weapon-related component; however,
this hypothesis has not yet been officially confirmed by the investigating
authorities.
Investigators continue to analyze the video footage and
other collected evidence to reconstruct the suspect's movements before the
incident. The recordings are part of the evidence being gathered to establish a
precise chronology of events and determine if there is a direct link between
the individual's presence on campus and the crime under investigation.
So far, no authority has reported that the gait observed in
the video constitutes proof that the suspect was carrying a concealed weapon.
Criminal investigation specialists point out that a change in a person's gait
can be due to multiple factors, so any conclusion must be based on expert
evidence and not solely on the interpretation of video footage.
