United States Deploys 2,000 Military Personnel to Support Emergency Relief Efforts Following Earthquakes in Venezuela

 


The head of U.S. Southern Command, Francis Donovan, reported that approximately 2,000 U.S. troops are participating in the response operations following the earthquakes that have struck Venezuela. The deployment aims to provide support for emergency tasks, humanitarian assistance, and coordination with the authorities responsible for assisting the affected population.

According to the high-ranking military official, the U.S. forces are collaborating on various actions aimed at facilitating rescue efforts, the distribution of aid, and providing assistance to communities impacted by the seismic activity.
