A shooting Sunday night at Seattle Center, during the Bite
of Seattle food festival and near the Space Needle, left three people dead and
four wounded.
According to authorities, two of the victims died at the
scene, while a third was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
Among the wounded was a two-year-old child, according to
authorities.
The shooting occurred as the festival drew crowds to the
Seattle Center complex, one of the city's main cultural and tourist
attractions. The incident prompted an immediate response from emergency
services and law enforcement.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine
the circumstances of the attack, identify the perpetrator or perpetrators, and
establish a motive for the shooting.
