During an episode of her program, American presenter Laura Ingraham stated that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio led an international meeting with delegates from more than 60 countries to coordinate actions against what the State Department considers a growing threat to global security: far-left political terrorism.
According to Ingraham, the meeting aimed to strengthen
cooperation among allied governments in intelligence, security, and combating
extremism, given concerns about the increase in violent acts attributed to
organizations and groups with radical left-wing ideological motivations.
According to the information presented, the participants
analyzed the challenges this type of violence poses to the stability of various
countries, as well as the need to share intelligence, improve international
coordination, and develop joint strategies to prevent attacks and dismantle
networks that promote terrorist activities.
The journalist noted that the initiative reflects a shift in
US foreign policy priorities regarding security, placing greater emphasis on
combating organizations considered extremist by Washington authorities,
regardless of their geographic origin.
