American actor James Woods has launched a scathing attack against progressive sectors of the Democratic Party in the United States regarding policies and stances related to gender identity in children, an issue that continues to generate intense political and social debate in the country.

recent years for expressing conservative opinions—stated that the discussion on
gender identity in children represented a definitive breaking point in his
relationship with the Democratic Party. According to Woods, the promotion of
these ideas in the educational and cultural sphere constitutes a line that, in
his view, should not be crossed.

referring to those who support policies related to gender identity in
childhood. He stated that, from his perspective, allowing or supporting medical
