A federal judge in Rhode Island on Friday praised President
Donald Trump's "swift and decisive response" to a recent court ruling
related to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), popularly
known as food stamps. The judge called the president's reaction "highly
appreciated," emphasizing that the administration acted swiftly to ensure
the continuity of benefits for affected families.
The comment came during a hearing in which the court was
evaluating the implementation of a ruling that had created confusion regarding
eligibility criteria for receiving federal aid. According to the judge, the
