Ukraine develops interceptors for Russian hypersonic missiles

Ukraine is developing interceptors for the Russian Kinzhal and Zircon hypersonic missiles, according to Palisa, deputy head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office.

Russia currently possesses around 2,000 missiles (Iskander, Kalibr, Kh-101), its largest arsenal since the start of the war, supported by Chinese-made equipment.

Currently, only Patriot systems can shoot down the Kinzhal and Zircon missiles.
