President Trump warned of the risk to taxes if the "One Big Beautiful Bill" were not passed

 

As the Senate neared finalizing President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill," the president took to social media early Tuesday morning to warn that failure to reach an agreement would result in the largest tax increase in history.

His message came amid a marathon of voting, where lawmakers from both parties spent hours submitting amendments to the mammoth bill, Fox News reported.

“Republicans, the One Big Beautiful Bill, perhaps the largest and most important of its kind in history, offers the largest tax cuts and enhanced border security in history, millions of jobs, raises for military and veterans, and much more. If it doesn't pass, it means a massive 68% tax increase—the largest in history!” he posted.
