The White House supports the investigation into former President Biden's use of clemency powers

The White House has expressed support for a Justice Department investigation into former President Joe Biden's use of clemency powers, following allegations that many pardons and commutations were signed using an autopen.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized the importance of the investigation, announced by President Donald Trump's pardon lawyer, Ed Martin, stating that "the American people deserve answers."

"The president is right to talk about the use of the autopen," Leavitt told reporters Tuesday, according to the Washington Examiner. "Who ran the country for the last four years?"
