Joy Behar and the other Trump-hating hosts of the ABC show
tried to get former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger—an immigrant—to
mock ICE and President Trump's stance on undocumented immigrants. Instead, he
took them to school:
“I'm so proud and happy to have been welcomed like this by
the American people. Imagine if I came here at 21 with absolutely nothing and
then built a career like that. In no other country in the world could you do
that. It's all thanks to the United States.”
“The key… is that we have to do things legally. Those who do
illegal things in the United States, and they are foreigners, are not smart.
Because when you come to the United States, you are a guest and you have to
behave like one.”
“As an immigrant, you have a responsibility to give back to
the United States and do something for your community.”
