Florida Republican State Senator Ileana Garcia collapsed
while speaking at a press conference with state leaders.
While speaking at the event alongside Florida Republican
Governor Ron DeSantis, Garcia discussed environmental laws before turning to
DeSantis to inform him that she suddenly wasn't feeling well.
"Governor, excuse me," she said. "I have to
sit down because I don't feel well."
Garcia collapsed sideways as soon as she finished speaking.
Fortunately, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo was there to catch her and
keep her from falling to the ground. As he picked her up, he kept repeating,
