President Donald Trump reacted to the outbreak of the
conflict between India and Pakistan.
Trump said he had barely heard about the situation between
India and Pakistan, which is nevertheless a regrettable situation.
"It's a shame. We found out right when we walked into
the Oval Office. We found out. I guess people knew something was going to
happen, based on a little bit of the past," the President said.
He also referred to the length of the battles between these
two nations: "They've been fighting for a long time. They've been fighting
for many, many decades. And centuries, actually, if you think about it. I hope
it ends soon."
