Morelia, Michoacán.- A motorcyclist was injured after being
shot in the Obrera neighborhood.
The attack occurred this afternoon on Primo Tapia Street,
when a young motorcyclist was shot and injured.
The victim fled from the armed men who were chasing him and
reached Tratados de Córdoba Street in the Independencia neighborhood, where he
called for help.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene, provided first
aid, and took him to a hospital for appropriate medical attention. The patient
was identified as Francisco Daniel, 26 years old.
The area was cordoned off by police while personnel from the
Michoacán Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation to clarify the motive
for the attack.
