Global companies have lost $33 billion as a result of Trump's tariffs

According to emerging information, Trump's tariffs have affected global giants more than expected.

According to a Reuters study, $33 billion represents the total estimates of 32 S&P 500 companies, including US, European, and Asian firms.

Economists say the cost to businesses will likely be several times higher than what companies have disclosed so far.

42 companies drastically cut their forecasts, and 16 withdrew their estimates entirely.

The automotive and airline sectors were the hardest hit: supply chains are in chaos.
