The Iranian news agency Noor News, affiliated with Iran's
Supreme National Security Council, accuses Trump's statement on direct talks of
being "a sophisticated and planned psychological operation designed to
influence local and international public opinion."
Three Iranian sources told the New York Times that Iran and
the United States plan to meet in Oman on Saturday for indirect talks.
According to the report, Iran has informed Washington that if Saturday's round
of talks is successful, it is willing to hold direct talks.
