Greece experienced the start of a 24-hour general strike

A 24-hour general strike took place across Greece today.

Workers demanded wage increases, collective bargaining agreements, the reintroduction of the 13th and 14th wages in the public sector, and measures to address the housing crisis.

The strike was declared by the main unions, GSEE and ADEDY, while PAME, affiliated with the KKE, and unions affiliated with extra-parliamentary parties organized their own demonstrations.
