The White House announces the military's next high-tech fighter jet

President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth made a major announcement on Friday about a significant advancement in the U.S. military.

From the Oval Office, Trump announced the U.S. military's next high-tech fighter jet.

Trump not only announced that Boeing had been awarded the contract for the F-47, the world's first sixth-generation fighter jet, but also stated that it has been flying for five years. The president called the F-47 a good-sized aircraft and added that perhaps some allies could purchase it. Trump stated that this aircraft doesn't fly alone and can fly with as many drones as we want.

“The F-47 will be the most advanced, most capable, and most lethal aircraft ever built. An experimental version of the aircraft has been secretly flying for nearly five years, and we are confident it far exceeds the capabilities of any other nation,” Trump declared.
