DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said the Coast Guard has also done
phenomenal work.
"I don't know if you've reported this yet, but we've
broken historic records in the number of drug interdictions they've
conducted."
We've repositioned the fleet to address the fentanyl crisis
and to secure the southern border. And they've done an incredible job in that
regard."
"We were in Florida. They imported $500 million worth
of cocaine, which they had captured in 14 interdictions, and they brought it
directly against the cartels," the federal official stated.
