Kyiv – More than 400,000 square meters of warehouses and
logistics facilities in Ukraine have been destroyed since the beginning of July
2016, according to a report published by Forbes Ukraine.
The publication states that among the companies affected by
the damage to their infrastructure are Fozzy Group, Novus, Rozetka, Epicentr,
Nova Poshta, Puma, Liqui Moly, and Toyota Ukraine, whose logistics facilities
have been impacted during the conflict.
The report also notes that the Kyiv region has lost more
than one million square meters of storage space since the start of the
large-scale Russian invasion, representing approximately half of its pre-war
storage capacity.
The damage to logistics infrastructure has impacted supply
chains and the distribution of goods in various regions of the country, amidst
a conflict that continues to affect strategic sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
The data was published by Forbes Ukraine, and Russian authorities had not yet issued
a statement on these figures at the time of publication.
