Trump Says He's Considering a Fourth Presidential Term

US President Donald Trump stated during the White House Correspondents' Association dinner that he intends to run for a fourth presidential term.

The statement was made Friday night during the traditional gathering of journalists, officials, and political figures in Washington.

The possibility raised by Trump is generating debate because the US Constitution limits a person to two terms as president, so a potential candidacy for a fourth term would require overcoming significant constitutional hurdles.

The statements have thrilled millions of Americans who support him, asserting on social media that the country, almost entirely broken in the hands of Democrats, is visibly being rescued by President Trump.

On the other hand, Democrats insist on paying attention to the issue of presidential power limits and the political future of Trump, who has already served two non-consecutive terms as president. For now, the statement should be understood as a declaration of political intent and not as an announcement of a constitutional candidacy, which only time will put in its proper place.
