Entrepreneur Elon Musk is preparing to relaunch America PAC
in anticipation of the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, aiming to strengthen
Republican voter turnout, according to a report published by Axios.
The report states that the political action committee (super
PAC) plans to invest heavily in voter mobilization strategies, including
door-to-door canvassing, digital advertising, and direct mail targeting conservative
voters, a demographic that historically has lower turnout in non-presidential
elections.
America PAC gained prominence during the 2024 presidential
campaign, when it contributed over $260 million to support President Donald
Trump's candidacy, becoming one of the leading political finance vehicles of
the election cycle.
Axios reports that the committee's new phase will be led by
Chris Young, Musk's top political advisor, who will coordinate operations with
other Republican organizations and groups to strengthen the party's performance
in the 2026 midterm elections.
The report indicates that the billionaire will once again
play a significant role in the Republican Party's funding and electoral
strategy leading up to the next elections.
