U.S. President Donald Trump stated this Monday that he does not regret having withdrawn his country from the World Health Organization. He did so with the absolute backing of the citizenry, who have observed international efforts to sensationalize an alleged hantavirus outbreak detected among cruise ship passengers.
The President fielded questions from the press in the Oval Office and defended—once again—the measure adopted by his administration. And after years of enduring the situation, the President made one thing crystal clear: the WHO was controlled by China and handled everything poorly during the pandemic.
"We were paying $500 million a year. For what? What the hell were they doing?!
China, with 1.4 billion people, was paying only $39 million. It’s a disgrace!" he exclaimed. This unfolds against the backdrop of a renewed attempt to push the narrative of a non-existent pandemic—a narrative that, much like previous announcements, seeks once again to inflict harm upon the citizens of the West.
Trump was even more direct:
"We should have paid $10 million, not $500 million. When we withdrew, the decision was tremendously popular. As far as COVID is concerned, the WHO got everything wrong. It was I who said, from the very beginning, that it came from Wuhan. They refused to say it... because they are controlled by China."
"Let's be honest: the WHO has served no purpose other than to worsen any situation that presents itself as a supposed threat to the world. We no longer trust them, and we view that organization as the greatest threat to us all," write the citizens who support the President's decision.
