Authorities in southern Arizona are continuing their
investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie in Tucson and are not
ruling out the possibility that more than one person is involved.
According to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, investigators
are exploring the possibility that the individual captured on a doorbell camera
outside the victim's home had help in carrying out the alleged kidnapping. The
video footage, recorded the night Guthrie was last seen, has become a key piece
of evidence in the investigation.
Although the suspect appears alone in the released images,
authorities believe there may have been prior coordination or logistical support
from another person. The sheriff stated that the team in charge of the case is
thoroughly reviewing additional evidence, including call records, financial
transactions, and other surveillance videos from the area.
The Pima County Sheriff's Office is keeping all lines of
inquiry open and continues to seek information from the community. Authorities
have reiterated that any piece of information, no matter how small, could be
crucial in clarifying the facts and finding the missing woman.
