The Governor of California insists on one of his biggest lies: blaming the president for the worsening crisis in LA

The Department of Homeland Security is preparing to deploy ICE tactical units to five Democratic-led cities in response to the riots in Los Angeles, where Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, in a clear act of hypocrisy, appeared to be affected by insisting on one of his biggest lies, blaming President Donald Trump for contributing to the crisis.

According to MSNBC, the specialized units will be sent to New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Northern Virginia. Four of these cities are Democratic-led, while Northern Virginia includes Alexandria, a Democratic stronghold.

The ICE operations have sparked widespread protests, paralyzing Los Angeles and prompting the mayor to impose a citywide curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. However, these operations are part of Trump's promised crackdown on the presence of migrants in the United States without documents, following four years of "open borders" policies under former President Joe Biden.

The reports came as the California governor issued a dire prediction for the rest of the country Tuesday night in a nationally televised address criticizing Trump's deployment of U.S. troops to Los Angeles to protect federal property and federal agents, not to perform civilian immigration and law enforcement functions, which would be a violation of U.S. law.
