Kari Lake left a Democratic congressman visibly frustrated
after mentioning a debunked claim about a House member having a gay lover
during a heated exchange on the House floor.
The tense moment erupted when Representative Greg Stanton
(D-Ariz.) questioned Lake, who currently serves as a senior advisor to
President Donald Trump at the Agency for Global Media. The exchange became increasingly
personal, with Stanton pressing Lake about her refusal to acknowledge two
previous state election losses.
At the end of her remarks, Stanton attacked Lake,
sarcastically suggesting she run for governor of Arizona again.
