President Donald Trump said he was disappointed with Russia

President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment with Russia for launching missile attacks while a peace deal was being negotiated between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Wednesday, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump addressed a variety of topics, including the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. Trump stated that he was still considering whether he would attend the peace negotiations with Ukraine scheduled for Thursday in Istanbul.

"He would like me to be there, and it's a possibility," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin. "I don't know if he would be there if I wasn't there. We'll find out."

Trump had previously stated that he would visit Istanbul for the talks as part of his trip to the Middle East this week. He departed for Qatar on Wednesday and will arrive in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
