White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to
former President Joe Biden's announcement Sunday that he had been diagnosed
with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
During a press conference Monday morning, Leavitt confirmed
to a reporter that Trump and Biden have not spoken, but that Trump would be
more than willing to talk to Biden and help in any way he can.
“To my knowledge, I don't think they've spoken, but I'm sure
the president would be willing to. I spoke with him last night about the former
president's cancer diagnosis, and the statement he issued was his first
reaction to me on the phone,” Leavitt said./CBrief
