A lawsuit was filed against the president of the Supreme Court for court rulings blocking executive measures

A pro-Trump legal organization founded by former White House adviser Stephen Miller has filed a lawsuit against Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts in a risky move as Trump allies oppose court rulings that have blocked major executive actions.

The lawsuit, filed by the America First Legal Foundation, targets Roberts in his role as president of the Judicial Conference of the United States, as well as Robert J. Conrad, director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Fox News reported.

The complaint alleges that both the Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office have engaged in regulatory actions that exceed their constitutional mandate, arguing that such actions fall outside the judiciary's core responsibilities: hearing cases and providing administrative support.

The lawsuit also argues that records maintained by the Judicial Conference of the United States, under Roberts's leadership, should be subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests as a result of the alleged regulatory actions.
