On Monday, during a press conference in the Oval Office,
President Donald Trump was asked about the possibility of running against
former President Barack Obama if either were eligible for a third term.
Fox News' Peter Doocy addressed the issue after Trump
himself suggested last week that some have insinuated there is a potential
loophole in the Constitution that would allow him to run again, despite the
22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951, which ostensibly limits presidents to two
terms.
"I would love to. I would love to. I would like to.
Boy, would that be a good idea!" Trump said in response to his clash with
Obama.
"They're asking me to put out a full story about me
possibly running for a third term. I don't know, I've never looked into it.
They say there's a way to do it. I don't know, I haven't looked into it. I want
to do a fantastic job," Trump said./CBrief
