A Democratic representative said she regrets voting for a
law that prioritizes American citizens over undocumented foreigners. She didn't
say it that way, but the content is the same.
Democratic Representative Jahana Hayes reversed course and
says she now regrets voting for the Laken Riley Act, which detains undocumented
immigrants convicted of criminal offenses:
"It's a vote I regret... I trusted this administration
wanted border security and to work with Democrats... I'm not sure about
that."
Another Democrat who prioritizes the rights of undocumented
immigrants over the lives of Americans.
