The world's richest man wants answers about how members of
Congress have become "strangely rich" despite their relatively modest
government salaries.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX, said his team
at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would investigate how certain
lawmakers have accumulated generational wealth, the New York Post reported.
Musk was responding to an aide's question about whether DOGE
had found any evidence of money transfers from the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID) to Representative Maxine Waters (D-Calif.),
Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
(D-N.Y.).
